Malik has indeed been trying to get Hadid to re-commit to their relationship. Though he has not been successful yet. Zayn has stated and pretty much made it clear that he wants to be with Gigi. A source confirms that he misses her and can’t stand staying apart. However Gigi is somewhat hesitant.
Hadid’s hesitation however, is understandable. The source further confirms that, they broke up because things weren’t working and it’s no different currently. “She loves him, but she isn’t completely sure this is where she wants to be right now. They are both so busy with their careers and traveling the world. It makes it very difficult to be in a relationship.” says the source.
Another source says that things look to be improving as Gigi has taken some space. Before their break-up Zayn was indeed going through some tough time and needed some space to himself.
