The line between Instagram posts and stories are getting thinner by the day. Instagram Users Can Now Share Posts To Their Stories. There’s a new feature coming out which will let users share posts both from theirs and public accounts they follow to their stories.
The idea:
Instagram is thinking that this feature will be used for helping promote friends and brands the user likes on their own story. It will make things easier, like, sharing a band’s tour announcement with your friends. Any post that you share will also include the original poster’s username and a link back to the original post.
Users can share these stories by tapping the same paper airplane above a post on their feed which they normally use to share a post through Instagram Direct. And now, you can create a story from it instead.
