This phone gets a bunch of the fundamentals and essentials right. The ergonomics are good coming with an under-glass ultrasonic fingerprint reader that occupies the chin at the bottom. Why is there? Well, it provides a reliable and consistent method for unlocking the phone.
The camera bump to the rear is small and that’s very merciful. But, let’s get to the absolute star attraction of this new phone- the Phantom Blue rear case. Honor has said that it discards one in every five of these 2.5D glass backs that get manufactured which owes to the difficulty of producing the wanted effect. Unlike the P20 Pro, the Honor 10 is catching the light in distinct vertical stripes. This phone goes on to exude a glamorous premium feel which every phone company strives for but falls just short of achieving. It is truly commendable- the fact that Honor does this while targeting the upper mid-range of the market.

The dual-camera system in this phone is a trickle-down from the parent Huawei with a 16-megapixel main sensor accompanied by a 24-megapixel monochrome sensor working in concert. Both contain lenses with a f/1.8 aperture.
The display may not be the best, but it is still high quality. Honor didn’t cut any corners at all. The processor inside is the same as in Huawei P20 Pro and the Kirin 970. So, it is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and quite generously 128GB of storage. The battery is also optimum for the screen, coming in at 3,400mAh.

The Honor 10 is put on sale immediately all across Europe with the price set at €449 for the 128GB version. You can also buy the one with 64GB for €399.
