Superman may not be as “super” as we hope him to be. The man behind the cape, Henry Cavill, has confirmed through some of his actions that he’s kind of a dirtbag. So, What Makes Henry Cavill A Dirtbag? Let’s find out:
He doesn’t understand sexism:
Henry Cavill may just have a lust for the taste of shoe leather for, he tends to put his foot in his mouth. For instance, his take on catcalling.
“I do think there’s a bit of a double standard, you know,”
he said in an interview to The Sunday Times.
“I mean, if a girl shouts something like ‘Oi, love, fancy a shag?’ to me as I walk past I do sometimes wonder how she’d feel if a builder said that to her. Although, of course, I wouldn’t feel physically threatened, as she might.”
That may just be the exact reason women don’t like being catcalled.

Cavill was asked about the #OscarsSoWhite controversy and he was initially being smart:
“I honestly believe that every year there are people passed over who should have been nominated, and that there are people who shouldn’t have been nominated who are. And I don’t think anything has ever changed in that respect… But, that said, this year in particular, there seems to be a serious lack of black guys and girls being nominated.”
He could have just stopped there and things would have been alright. But then, he says this:
“Maybe the solution is to have more diversity in the members. But does that mean we are saying that to have more black academy members would result in more black nominations? Is that not racist itself?”
He can’t stop talking about his junk:
For some really odd reason, he can’t stop talking about getting laid. In August 2015, he stated to Jimmy Fallon that his favorite cardio exercise is “running”, meanwhile his knowing glances at the audiences indicated that he meant the old bump and grind. He went into a great detail about the time when he caught a case of Kryptonite filming a make-out scene with a topless actress. He even mentioned how he apologized for not having his junk tucked away while the camera was still rolling.

He’s dated Deadpool actress Gina Carano on and off from 2012 to 2014 but never publicly spoke of it.
He rebounded at the time of one of their break-ups in summer 2013 with a very public romance with Kaley Cuoco lasting only 10 days. And Cuoco suspects it was all for the press.

“I’m slightly wary of saying this, because it can be frowned upon, certainly by members of my community and people outside my community, but I’m not just doing this for the art. The money’s fantastic and that’s something which I deem—and again, it is frowned upon—very important.”
And that’s not all. Because he also said this:
“People will be calling me a c*** as they’re reading this, but travel’s great as long as you’re going first class. I mean, traveling to New Zealand in economy, it sucks. Especially if you’re over six feet. But first class? I’m not going to ever pretend to be coy about that. I love it.”
Well, good luck Mr.Henry Cavill. It’s ok that you are a tall guy and have some problem with the economy class but, you can respect the art, right?
