Cardi B Will Open 2018 MTV VMAs

Cardi B is ready and rolling to make a return to the spotlight. With that in mind, MTV has made the announcement that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper had been chosen to open the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. Read in detail about “Cardi B Will Open 2018 MTV VMAs” below:

What’s cooking:

“WANNA PARTY WITH CARDI? @iamcardib will open the #VMAs,”

was a tweet from the VMAs official Twitter account. On the other hand, Cardi B shared a screenshot of the post on Instagram writing, “See you there!”. However, she would later clarify that she would just open and will not be performing.

Even now, it seems a bit unclear as to what this indicates. Nonetheless, this event will mark her first appearance since she and her husband welcomed their first child together. It is a baby girl named Kulture, born on July, 2018.

This exciting piece of news has come shortly after the 25-year-old pulled out of performing in the final leg of Bruno Mars’ 24k Magic World Tour. Cardi B, who became featured famously on Mars’ hit song Finesse was expected to hit the road next month.

“I thought that after giving birth to my daughter, that six weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically,”

is what she wrote on her official Instagram account.
