Icche: A Simple story with a large Impact
Most often the Indian Bengali movies are somehow very mainstream in story plot. Action, romance and drama, this could be the very expected thoughts in such type of movies. But about this flick, it’s a much more original and tangible in the story plot. “Icche”, this movie is not amongst any action, melodic drama or even mainstream romantic film neither involves any renowned celebrities, but consist of a great real-world potential. This concrete life based movie was released a way back in 2011. Based upon a novel by Suchitra Bhattacharya, this film revolves around the relationship between an obsessive mother and her son. The total film portrays a 16 years old boy who, undergoes an obvious infatuation state. His mother on the other hand protest such attitude and ultimately brings upon an obsessive drama. Very real and intensive moments engulfs the total time of the movie and gives us a sense of ultimate real life.
Directed by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, this movie casts Sohini Sengupta, Bratya Basu, Samadarshi Dutta, Bidita Bag and Ruplekha Mitra in the leading roles. If you are sitting bored on your coffee, then this 132 minutes movie can attract your attention. It’s obviously a must watch!
