What’s Cooking With Fujifilm?

Fujifilm is announcing a new square format analog Instax camera and definitely sounds like a cute novelty gift for whipping out at a dinner table. It is being called the Instax Square SQ6. It will be an instant film camera with a 1:1 aspect ratio. It will render photos in a 2.4-inch by 2.4-inch square format. Now let’s look at some more details about What’s Cooking With Fujifilm?

Features:

The Instax Square SQ6 contains an auto-exposure control feature so that you won’t have to manually tweak the settings to get a perfectly exposed photo. It comes with a sensor to detect the surrounding brightness which will adjust the shutter speed accordingly. It also has three color filters- in orange, purple and green.

You must be thinking, “Hey, what about the selfies?” Well, there is a selfie mode as well that adjusts the focus and brightness and takes better close-ups. The camera contains a small mirror that’s located next to the lens which helps to capture. And if you want to take a selfie with a larger group than just you, then there’s a built-in ten-second timer and a tripod socket.

You get to activate other shooting modes as well. When you press the shutter mode twice, you get to use double exposure mode and it lets you superimpose two images into a single film. So What’s Cooking With Fujifilm? You know now.

What’s the price?

The Square SQ6 will come out on the 25th of May in the USA and Canada for $129.95 and CAD $159.99. Well, you also have to purchase Fujifilm Instax film separately and that will cost you $12.54 per pack of 10 prints on Amazon.
