Consider The 4Cs While Choosing Chocolate Diamond Engagement Rings

A consumer can find a diamond or diamonds that fit the individual taste because the precious stone is available in all size and quality. Fir thing you know about diamond is that all are not created equal.  Actually every diamond that is unearthed is unique and they come in different shapes, colors and sizes plus internal distinctiveness. Polished diamonds whether they are white or brown, yellow or pink are valuable. A combination of factors determines each of these diamonds and one of the factors is rarity. Specific qualities of a diamond make it rare and thus increase in value, unlike diamonds that have no above mentioned qualities.

Factors To Consider In Diamond Engagement Rings

There is a systematic way of evaluating diamonds and jewelry professionals use them when they discuss the various aspects of a diamond. if not, there is no way they can make the comparison with one diamond to another. GIA has developed the grading system for diamonds and the factors considered in the evaluation are clarity, cut, and color and carat weight. These for factors are known as 4Cs in the diamond circle and when deployed tell the finish and quality of a diamond.

Value of diamonds is affected often by one or more of the 4Cs or rarity factor. The colorless variety is in short supply and you will find yellow or brown tints in most of them. Usually the colorless variety demands higher rating when it is graded on the color scale. There is the relativity factor between rarity and value, and here the colorless diamond is rare so it will command more value than the ones that are on the yellowish shade. The same relativity is applied for carat weight, cut and clarity while determining the value of any diamond. Contemporary evaluation of the 4Cs is more accurate than any other product that has similar standards to assess their quality. Chocolate diamond engagement rings having the highest 4Cs standards can be great gifts without costing consumers’ pockets.

Color

Value of a diamond can be dramatically with subtle changes in colors. When you compared the value of two diamonds of the same weight, clarity and cut the difference can be measured only by color. Slightest hint of color change can alter the value of diamond. In the normal color chart, the close a diamond become colorless, the higher its value is. There is a quantum leap in price when it concerns the colorless diamond that however could be rare.

Clarity

In nature’s creation only few things can be totally perfect. This is applicable in diamonds too. Diamonds have characteristic features such as irregular surfaces and inclusions that are called blemishes in diamonds. They in total are called clarity characteristics. Absence of inclusions and blemishes are directly related to clarity. The blemishes in diamond would also include nicks and scratches, and sometimes inclusions would break the diamond surface. You will also find cases where tiny diamonds or mineral crystals being trapped inside during the formation of a diamond. They may remain inside the diamond even after cut and polish thus affecting the appearance of the diamond. Characteristics of clarity can have a reverse influence on the value of a diamond and at the same time some positive effects. It actually helps gemologists to separate the imitations from real diamonds. Clarity characteristics are not the same with two diamonds that have been mined from the same locations.

Cut

Brilliant finishes in diamond can be stunning as it will reflect the skill of the craftsman on every facet. The effect can be dramatic when a diamond interacts with natural light as light affects every facet and angle of the diamond surface and the amount of light received by the eye from the diamond. this brilliance is what you call as face-up appearance. If light goes through the crown of the diamond and exit through the pavilion it will look darker and unattractive. If a diamond surface has many faces that are well polished it will make well use of the natural light and will appear bright, scintillating and colorful. A well cut diamond embedded in an engagement ring will show brilliance as it will reflect the light better.
