The game starts with the death of Kratos’ second wife, Faye. Her death wish was that her ashes to be spread at the highest peak of the nine realms. Together with his son Atreus, Kratos sets out to fulfill her wish. In their journey, they meet various supporting characters and many mythological creatures and gods to defeat to reach their destination. This time Kratos doesn’t have the familiar Blades of Chaos.
